‘The Walking Dead’ Season 5 spoiler snippets: Morgan, romance, and more

On Monday, Television Comic Book News brought some “The Walking Dead” Season 5 spoiler snippets to our attention. Fans were left with several questions after “The Walking Dead” Season 4 finale concluded with a major cliffhanger. Beth’s whereabouts are unknown, how Tyreese/Carol will come into Terminus is also something fans are dying to know. Oh, and can we get a definite answer behind Terminus’ intentions already? Showrunner Scott Gimple discussed what fans can look forward to this upcoming season.

A character we all want to see again on “The Walking Dead” is Morgan. Show creators and production has told fans through AMC several times that they never leave the fate of a character unknown – they will either die or come back sometime in the future. So will we see Morgan in Season 5?

“I am so determined to make that happen by hook and by crook I can say definitively yes,” Gimple tells the source. We wish he would spoil more, at least an approximation of when – first half of Season 5 or second half? But that’s all the show creator teases fans with.

Gimple also gave some spoiler snippets to some questions we are dying to know more of. For starters, Gimple says that Season 5 will be picking up right minutes where it left off. We will also find out what happened to Beth pretty early on.

“Regarding the comics,” the source writes, “the show will be a remix of specific content and inspired content.” The Season 4 finale was almost spot-on to the comics, so getting more scenes like that sounds great! Season 4 had a lot more character development than the third season, but according to Gimple, Season 5 is bringing on more action.

Any romances to look forward to? While Gimple didn’t spoil who will be catching the love-bug, he does confirm that there will be another couple besides Glenn and Maggie.

“The Walking Dead” Season 5 returns to AMC sometimes this October. Filming is set to begin on May 5, and we can’t wait for photos and information to leak!”
